Leaders of Cuba and Antigua and Barbuda hold talks

Cuba, December 7, 2014. The President of Cuba Raúl Castro held talks today with the Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda Gaston Browne, temporary president of the Caribbean of the Community (CARICOM), it was reported in a press note.

Brown is making an official visit to Cuba and heading the delegation of his country to the Fifth CARICOM-Cuba Summit.

During the meeting in the Palace of the Revolution, both leaders expressed their satisfaction for the excellent status of the relations, especially in the co-operation, which develops in a fraternal environment.

The leaders also spoke about on going regional and the international events, the note says.

The talks were also attended by Sr. Henry Charles Fernández, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade; Molwyn Morgorson Joseph, Minister of Health and Environment.

Also attending wee the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla and the ambassador of Cuba to Jamaica Gustavo Daniel Véliz Olivares.
